Merry Blogmas day one baby! I am so exited because today I have a complete healthy gift guide for the women in your life! These gifts are all beginner-friendly and super practical, and I picked them because they are great tools to help make living a healthier lifestyle just a bit easier! I also really tried to include items from small businesses, because it’s super important to shop small this year (well, every year, but this year especially!).
Disclaimer: I do NOT make any money from the purchase of these items if you click the link. I have simply provided the link for your convenience.
I wanted to include at least one clothing item, because some days looking cute while working out is the one thing that gets me motivated to actually do my workout. This shirt is from Etsy, meaning your supporting a small business owner if you decide to purchase it, plus it comes in a bunch of different colors and the fabric is sweat-wicking and comfortable. I also love the message on the front, because it reminds me not to compare myself to others; I’m doing this to improve myself, and no matter where I am in my journey, I’m stronger than I was yesterday.
This is the absolute best pre-workout I have ever tried. It tastes delicious, comes in a bunch of different flavors, and doesn’t make me feel all jittery and tingly once I’ve taken it. It says it has 30 servings per container, but I usually only do half-scoops, and that’s plenty to get me through my workout. It does contain quite a bit of caffeine, so if you are sensitive to caffeine, Alani Nu also has a caffeine-free supplement called Pump, and it is equally as delicious and energizing as the pre-workout.
This duffle is the cutest thing in my closet, and it serves so many functions! It’s great as a gym bag and as a personal duffle; I take it with me everywhere. It is small, meant to operate more as a day use bag, but it is so cute and great quality. It is also from Etsy, so you’ll be supporting a small business, and you can get it personalized with your name, initials, anything you want! It also comes in a variety of colors to appeal to everyone’s taste!
These water bottles are super cute and are a great way to keep track of your daily water intake. It has helped me so much with getting all my water in throughout the day, and they are pretty lightweight and easy to carry, so they’re perfect for going on walks, hikes, and bike rides. They also come in a bunch of different colors, so you’re sure to find one you like!
Okay, I know these look corny, but they are honestly so much fun! They are a fun way to change up your workout, and all the moves can be done with no equipment! They are a super creative way to get your workout in, and it breaks up the monotony of doing the same thing every day. I really enjoyed incorporating these into my workout routine once a week; they make me laugh and remind me to have fun with my workouts.
Glute bands are an absolute staple in my workout routine, because they are a great way to help warm up your legs and bum before a workout. These from Suzie B are such good quality, come in different resistances, and so many cute patterns that you’re pretty much guaranteed to find one you like. Plus, they are having a sale right now, so a lot of the styles have been reduced from $20.00 to $15.00, which is a great price for the quality of these bands!
Now this gift is the most pricey on this list, but it is a must-have for me. Not only does it track all the stats of your workouts (your heart rate, distance, calories burned, steps taken) but it also has the ability to store music, which I absolutely love. My phone is just too big and bulky to take with me when I workout, so I would often just go without music, and this little smart watch has changed the game for me! It’s very secure on my wrist and lightweight, so I hardly even notice it’s there. It is also water-proof, so you can take it in the pool and track your swim workouts as well! It is a bit pricey, and they do have other options that are a bit cheaper, but they don’t all have the ability to download music, which is honestly what sold me. I highly recommend checking it out!
If you frequent this blog, you know how much I believe in journaling and the benefits it can have on your mental health. This journal is more geared towards meeting your fitness goals, but it also has a lot of empty space to write in whatever you want to write. It’s small enough to be portable, and it gives little prompts here and there that help guide your writing and give you something to focus on, which I think can be super beneficial in achieving your goals.
Last but not least, this little gem that I have seen all over the internet so I finally decided to give it a try; the BlendJet! For those who don’t know, it is a portable, battery operated blender that allows you to take your smoothies on the go. I love it for when I’m workout out right before or right after work, because I’ll just bring all my fruit and protein powder with me and blend it up when I get the chance! It’s actually pretty powerful for being battery operated; I’ve never had an issue with frozen fruit or ice; just make sure to put enough liquid in to keep it from getting stuck! This little blender also comes in a ton of different color options, so it makes the perfect little gift!
